Enter Maddie’s Marketing Competition 2008 today, deadline is October 31st 2008. Read the entry information…»
In August 2007, Maddie's Fund® held a competition for Petfinder.com members to find effective marketing strategies for adopting hard to place dogs and cats.
One hundred and ninety five rescue groups, traditional shelters, adoption guarantee shelters and animal control agencies responded, describing all manner of methods for adopting elderly, disfigured, blind, deaf, unattractive and shy pets, as well as dogs and cats with medical and behavioral problems.
Maddie's Fund awarded $300,000 to more than 100 organizations that entered the competition, and we are proud to present the majority of the submissions here on our website. (The entries will also be posted on the Petfinder.com website.) Except for the top eight prize winners (posted in their own category) we have organized them by the conditions the shelters addressed.
The contest will be held again in Fall 2008.
