Maddie's® Pet Rescue Project

Maddie's® Pet Rescue Project is working with Maddie's® Spay/Neuter Project to save all of Dane County's healthy and treatable shelter dogs and cats within five years.

Maddie's® Pet Rescue Project in Dane County, WI is comprised of the Dane County Humane Society (Lead Agency), Dane County Friends of Ferals, Heartland Farm Sanctuary, and Shelter from the Storm.

Creative marketing and new programs to keep infectious disease outbreaks low have enabled this coalition to achieve an 85% Live Release Rate.

Maddie's®Spay/Neuter Project

Maddie's® Spay/Neuter Project in Dane County ended June 30, 2011. The program was available for cats of low-income Dane County residents and for those who managed feral cat colonies. Twenty-one private practice veterinary hospitals and three non-profits clinics participated.
