About Kate Gollon, DVM

Dr. Gollon graduated from Boston College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and an emphasis in Community Advocacy. She spent the following two years working as a technician for humane organizations around the country, and she volunteered in the animal rescue effort in Mississippi in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Kate also lived in Utah and Texas, working for an animal sanctuary and HVHQSN clinic, respectively. She received her DVM from Cornell University in 2011 and is currently a Swanson Intern in Shelter Medicine at Maddie's® Shelter Medicine Program at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Kate's particular interests are in affordable spay/neuter programs and feral cat welfare issues.
