Lynn Spivak, Director of Marketing and Communications 

Lynn directs marketing, communications and branding at Maddie's Fund^®. Much of her time is spent managing the foundation's publications and website and overseeing media relations.

Prior to joining Maddie's Fund, she directed public relations at the San Francisco SPCA. During her sixteen year tenure, she positioned The SF/SPCA as the national leader in animal welfare and the resource national media turned to for information on industry issues. The SF/SPCA was featured frequently in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, National Public Radio and dozens of national magazines and television broadcasts. She also established the industry's first web site in 1995.

Lynn has worked in Public Broadcasting and spent several years as a researcher/writer at a social justice institute in rural Nebraska. She holds a degree in history from UCLA but learned life's most important lessons from her cat, Percy.
