This presentation discusses the importance of creating an organization-wide culture of philanthropy that extends beyond the development team. It reviews fundraising strategies that engage staff at all levels and help overcome anxiety about asking for donations.
Further, it talks about the importance of creating optimistic, donor-centered fundraising programs which move away from the all-too common gloomy tales of suffering and give donors a sense of purpose, agency and hope when engaging with your organization.
This presentation was recorded at the 2018 ASPCA-Maddie's® Cornell Shelter Medicine Conference.
