Lynne joins Maddie's team as the Foundation's first Field Representative. She'll work throughout the South, starting in Alabama where she'll help build community collaborations of animal control agencies, traditional shelters, no-kill organizations and veterinarians.
Lynne has worked in animal sheltering since 1979, first as the Shelter Manager at the Shelby County Humane Society in Columbiana, Alabama and then as the Executive Director of the Chilton County Humane Society in Clanton, Alabama. Lynne was also President of the Alabama Humane Federation for eight years and served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Animal Control Association.
Lynne and her husband live on seven acres of Alabama woodland with dogs Lucy (a Boxer), Pepper (Chow-Shepherd mix), Abby (Border Collie-Austrailan Shepherd mix) and Shorty (Chow mix).
