Ever hear of Capacity Calculators?
How many animals can we care for with our current staffing? How many should we take in each month? Capacity calculators can help!
Do you know how to Set Goals?
What exactly are you working toward? Having clear goals in place for intake, outcomes, and flow-through is vitally important for staff and leadership.
Look into the crystal ball for Data Visualization:
Your data is a powerful tool for decision making. But staring at spreadsheets is a difficult way to really see what your data is telling you. We partner with Shelter Animals Count and Humane Dash to bring you charts and graphs of your data, fast!
Join Maddie's Fund® and Dr. Mike Greenberg, Program Director of Target Zero for this must-see recorded webcast on data and how it can help you achieve success!
This course has been pre-approved for Certified Animal Welfare Administrator continuing education credits.
Dr. Greenberg completed his training in shelter medicine with the Maddie's® Shelter Medicine Program at Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Since that time, he has worked clinically and as a consultant for multiple public and private animal shelters throughout the United States. He is based in Nashville, TN where he served as the medical director for Pet Community Center for several years while also providing animal welfare consulting services to shelters around the Southeast. He has always taken a "big picture" approach to animal welfare and was drawn to Target Zero for exactly this reason. He feels strongly that addressing animal welfare at the community level will ultimately enable us to help more animals and the people who care for them.
In addition to working within the US, he has enjoyed volunteering with organizations throughout the world: Whether vaccinating street dogs in India, teaching spay-neuter in Cape Verde, or helping to build safety net programs here at home, Mike will often say, "This is an engineering problem. We've got the tools. We can fix it!" He is thankful to the trailblazers who have built Target Zero's incredibly successful model and aims to carry on and expand upon the work they have already done.
