Charleston Animal Society was founded in 1874 with a mission to prevent cruelty to animals.They were the first No-Kill community in the Southeast.Shelter medicine has been a big part of their success and now they would like to share that success with others via the Maddie's Shelter Medicine for Veterinary Support Staff Apprenticeship at Charleston Animal Society. This apprenticeship focuses on shelter medicine for animal care techs and assistants, surgical techs, vet assistants, and medical records techs.
