Charlotte Otero

Community Strategy Manager

As the Community Strategic Manager, Charlotte is responsible for the strategic development and execution of initiatives to engage and support our online community, Maddie's® Pet Forum (MPF). In this role, she oversees content, programs, planning, and special projects related to the forum to support organization-wide objectives.

Charlotte started her tenure with Maddie's Fund as the Community Strategist for MPF. She helped to drive strategies and improvements during the launch of this engagement platform.

Charlotte has an extensive background in digital community management using the power of technology to connect millions of people with others who share their same passions. She's managed online communities for Lady Gaga, Coca-Cola, Travelocity, Sol Republic, the Mandela Family, and the United Nations Foundation. Charlotte's passion for all things technology and animals is a combination that speaks straight to her heart.

Charlotte attended the University of Idaho on a basketball scholarship and earned her degree in Marketing with a minor in Advertising. She later received her Master's Certificate from the University of San Francisco in Advanced Online Marketing.

Charlotte lives in Prineville, Oregon with her wife Meisha and their feline family, Kanye and Kudi along with a rotating crew of foster kittens. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, marketing design, video editing, music, and traveling.
