Romy Harness

Director of Access to Care Initiatives

As the Director of Access to Care Initiatives, Romy focuses primarily on identifying and defining access to care strategies and managing the development of new programs.

Prior to joining Maddie's Fund, Romy spent most of her career working in the tech industry, including the last 11 years at Workday where she held various executive and program support roles. Additionally, she has been a volunteer and Board Member at Berkeley Humane for over a decade.

Romy resides in the San Francisco Bay Area where she enjoys the outdoors, reading, crafts, and her cat, Rocky. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography from California College of the Arts and often focuses her lens on cats, dogs and other animal friends. She is honored to support the well-being of companion animals and their humans in her role at Maddie's Fund.
