President, Founder and Principal Consultant for Humane Network Bonney is the former Executive Director of Nevada Humane Society in Reno. She dramatically increased adoption rates and lead the community to achieve and sustain a 94% live release rate for dogs and cats, making Washoe County one of the safest communities in the country for homeless animals and the recipient of Maddie's Fund's Community Lifesaving Award.
Bonney is a former Chief Operating Officer for Best Friends Animal Society and former Campaign Director for Alley Cat Allies. Bonney co-created and teaches at the University of the Pacific's Animal Shelter Management certificate program. In 1992, Bonney founded Neponset Valley Humane Society in Canton, Massachusetts.
A frequent conference speaker, Bonnie provides training on increasing pet adoptions and other lifesaving programs as well as management and fundraising for humane organizations.
