Shelter Art Foundation truly believes that good images have the potential to highlight the beauty of shelter animals and aid those animals in finding their forever homes.This workshop, presented by professional photographer Nicole Del Castillo, shows the shelter community the importance of good quality images and how easy it is to create these images using the techniques discussed in this workshop. This presentation was recorded at the 2016 American Pets Alive! Conference.

About Nicole Del Castillo

Nicole Del Castillo is a photographer and mentor for Shelter Art Foundation, a non-profit sponsored by Purina that travels across the nation teaching workshops and donating photo equipment to animal shelters so they can take studio-quality portraits of the animals in their care. Nicole studied photography at the University of California, Irvine where she simultaneously worked as an assistant photographer for the Strategic Communications team. Since then she has worked for a leading photo studio in Hollywood, working on-set as production assistant for editorial photo shoots.
