Military Working Dogs Honored with National Monument

To celebrate military dogs and their service to our country, Maddie's Fund gave over $1 million to help finance the design and construction of America's first national monument to honor military working dogs. Additionally, Maddie's Fund financed the Not Forgotten Fountain - a fully functional bronze water fountain. The dedication marks the first time in U.S. history that an animal has been elevated to national monument status by congressional law. Read More

Free Pet Adoptions at Bay Area Shelters

There were lots of wagging tails and big smiles during Maddie’s Matchmaker Adoptathon, which found homes for over 2,600 dogs and cats. During the weekend, adoptions throughout San Francisco, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties were free for adopters, and Maddie’s Fund gave grants to the 63 participating organizations.
