NACA is a professional association focused on training, networking, and advocacy for animal care and control professionals. Maddie’s Fund support has helped expand both in-person and online learning opportunities.

Total Grants to Date: $1,026,500 since 2016

• Support has included operations, co-branded conference sponsorships & scholarships, Maddie’s University course development, and smaller state and regional trainings
• In 2024, NACA shifted from a single national conference to state association and regional conferences, reaching more than 2,000 attendees
• In 2025, NACA co-sponsored 34 state association regional trainings across 29 states
• The 2025 State Association Summit drew 120 professionals from 39 states
• NACA has created 10 online courses offered through Maddie’s^® University
• Additional funding included hybrid instructor-led events and a Compassion Workshop
