About Rebecca Lohnes

Rebecca Lohnes, MS, CDBC, ACCBC has been the Behavior and Training Manager at Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester since 2011. In addition to working with the people and animals of the shelter, she teaches dog training classes, lectures in the community on cat and dog behavior and is available for behavior consultations for both dogs and cats. She believes in using positive reinforcement and force-free methods to repair, preserve, and enhance the human-animal bond.

Rebecca is certified through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants in the dog and cat divisions. She has degrees from Yale University (BS 2005) and Cornell University (MSc 2010). After work is done, you'll find Rebecca outside in the garden with her dog, clicker training her cats, or traveling to distant lands to make memories and photographs.
