Contagious disorders, whether they be parasitic, fungal, viral, or bacterial, are always problematic but especially so in the shelter situation. This lecture focuses on the recognition and treatment of the problematic contagious disorders that can be in the shelter population. About William Miller, VMD, DAVC

Dr. Miller is with the Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. He has been practicing veterinary dermatology since 1977. He received his DVM from the University of Pennsylvania in 1976. He then completed an internship at Cornell University and a residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He is certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology.
