- Support has included community initiatives, such as the DC Total Cat Count Project, Open Arms and Return to Home challenge participation, and access-to-care programs
- Pilot shelter funding supported 23 shelters across 16 states
- In October 2024, Maddie’s Fund awarded grant for the Duffield Community Medicine Program
- The Frederick Douglas Patterson Pet Resource Center opened in January 2026 in the Anacostia neighborhood of Washington, DC
- HRA has hired four new veterinarians for the clinic to provide wellness exams, consultations, and vaccine clinics, with plans for surgeries, grooming, pet supplies, a pharmacy, and a community meeting room
- A Field Veterinary Program is expected to re-launch in 2026
