"We are all responsible for both ends of the leash!" so says Gina Knepp, the Animal Care Services Manager at the City of Sacramento Front Street Shelter. Leadership takes a special skillset and mindset. How your staff and volunteers are managed is but one key to success.

It takes courage, hard work and creativity but the pay-off is well worth every effort. This presentation was given at the Maddie's® Pet Project "Saving Nevada's Pets" conference and made possible by the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation and supported by Maddie's Fund®.
